CHEZ MARIA JULIA, a legal entity registered under the name MARIA JÚLIA SEMEDO MOREIRA – HOTELARIA E RESTAURAÇÃO, SOCIEDADE UNIPESSOAL, LDA, with registration number 273822306/220170906, headquartered at Avenida da Boa Vista, Palmarejo, Praia, Cabo Verde, hereinafter referred to as CHEZ MARIA JÚLIA, and, on the other hand, the customer identified at the time of purchasing products through the website www.chezmariajulia.cv, hereinafter referred to as the Customer.
Considering that CHEZ MARIA JÚLIA sells products both in person and online, and that the Customer is interested in purchasing these products, this agreement establishes the general conditions for the use and purchase of products through the website.
I. Confidentiality and Privacy Policy
CHEZ MARIA JÚLIA is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of all data and information provided by the Customer during the purchasing process.
a) As no security system is completely secure, the entity shall not be held liable for any damages or losses resulting from failures, viruses, or unauthorized access to its database.
b) The Customer acknowledges that, once registered, their information becomes part of a database and may be used to receive promotional or informational content (new product launches, promotions, newsletters, relationship communications, etc.) and/or communications from partner companies. If the Customer does not wish to receive such communications, they may express their preference through the available contact channels.
c) The entity guarantees the integrity and confidentiality of the Customer’s registration data, which is stored in accordance with high security standards.

III. Delivery Policy
The delivery time is informed during the purchase process, calculated in business days, and begins after the invoice is issued.
Deliveries are made from Monday to Saturday, between 08:00 and 23:00.
In exceptional cases, deliveries may also be made on Sundays.
a) Once the order has been completed, it is not possible to change the payment method, delivery address, request early delivery, or request delivery priority.
IV. Right of Withdrawal
Customers who purchase products online have the right to withdraw from the purchase and return the product, provided that the following conditions are met:
The withdrawal period is up to 7 (seven) calendar days from the date of receipt of the product.
The product must be returned in its original packaging, accompanied by the invoice, manual, and all accessories.
Products that have been used will not be accepted for return.
a) The Customer must request the return through Customer Support. The costs related to product collection or shipping will be borne by the Customer.
b) After receiving the product, CHEZ MARIA JÚLIA will verify whether the conditions have been met. If confirmed, the total purchase amount will be refunded, excluding shipping costs.
c) For credit card purchases, the refund will be processed through the card issuer and may appear on the next or subsequent billing statement.
d) For bank debit payments, the refund will be made via bank transfer within up to 10 business days, to the account of the purchaser. The Tax Identification Number (NIF) must match the one used in the order.
e) For purchases made using vouchers or similar methods, a voucher of equal value may be issued.
f) CHEZ MARIA JÚLIA reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet the conditions described above.
V. Exchange and Return Policy
All exchange and return situations will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
a) The Customer must request the exchange or return through Customer Support or their personal account. Shipping costs will be covered by CHEZ MARIA JÚLIA.
b) The product must be returned in its original packaging, including all accompanying items.
c) After verification, the refund or exchange will be processed according to the Customer’s request.
d) CHEZ MARIA JÚLIA is not responsible for requests made outside the specified timeframe or without prior communication.

All content available on the website (texts, images, trademarks, software, etc.) is the property of CHEZ MARIA JÚLIA or its licensors and is protected by law.
a) The Customer agrees to respect all intellectual property rights.
b) Any improper use may result in civil and/or criminal liability.
c) Force Majeure: Neither party shall be held liable for failure to perform obligations due to unforeseen circumstances.
d) Jurisdiction: The competent court shall be the one corresponding to the Customer’s place of residence.
